The Position
I have a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant Anaesthetist. You will provide a high standard of anaesthetic care to all patients, including perioperative care, audit, education, research, and management. This role also includes management of acute, chronic and persistent pain conditions and/or pain which is complicated by other medical conditions.

The Hospital
This is a 280 bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services. A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.

The Location
Synonymous with great food, wine, waterways and weather this is a fantastic location to spend a few months. This regional city boasts a diversity of cultural, outdoor and sporting activities seldom found anywhere else. Located only two hours north of Melbourne, the area features magnificent food and wine, glorious weather and all the attractions and activities you could imagine in a regional city. Restaurants abound throughout the region, offering an international taste experience to suit all palates.

The Requirements
To apply you must hold the FANZCA or postgraduate qualifications and experience in anaesthetics which meet ANZCA requirements for practising in this position. For IMG's as a minimum you should have already had your training assessed by ANZCA and been found to be substantially comparable.
