The Role

An opportunity has become available for an Application Support Officer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Provide support to business and technical stakeholders for information and business systems
  • Support efforts to automate application delivery where possible
  • Install, configure, test, optimise, implement and commission business applications, including cloud hosted services
  • Proactively monitor service resources and components to ensure a high level of security, continuity, capacity and end-to-end availability
  • Provide support to ICT Officers and the Technical Specialists as required

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Information Technology would be well regarded
  • Participate in on-call arrangements and out of standard working hours is a requirement for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply
  • Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary

  • Temporary full time (twelve months, with the possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $94 759 - $103 102 per annum
