About the role
The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager of Halwyn to foster clinical governance, operational leadership, standards of practice and a positive culture that promotes lifelong learning, workforce development, and research to achieve best practice consumer/person outcomes. The role will also work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager of Halwyn to foster and operationalise the National Disability Insurance Scheme's (NDIS) code of conduct, practice standards, reportable incidents, and behaviour supports, within a disability care environment.
About you

Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
Whilst not mandatory, possession of a relevant post graduate qualification (i.e. Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree) or evidence of enrolment in such a program would be desirable.
