About the role
The Bariatric Service Team Leader is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of interdisciplinary bariatric medical and surgical state-wide services. The role will provide independent, high-level, specialised clinical services of a complex and critical nature with significant state-wide scope. The role will exercise independent professional judgement in decision-making and clinical management, handling an increasingly complex and varied caseload beyond that of day to day practice relevant to their discipline. The role will be responsible for the provision of health professional leadership including strategic service management, planning and advocacy and assumes individual accountability for actions within the position
