About the Role

  • Undertake routine level respiratory scientific clinical measurements procedures within a multidisciplinary team and in accordance with quality and safety standards and prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Apply increasingly independent respiratory scientific clinical judgement to more complex clinical measurements decision making under the clinical practice supervision of senior clinical measurements practitioners and professional guidance of more senior respiratory scientists in the Respiratory Investigation Unit.
  • Provide input commensurate with clinical experience and knowledge to the development of routine clinical respiratory scientific practices, procedures and protocols applicable to service provision within the Respiratory Investigation Unit.
  • Develop respiratory clinical measurements practice knowledge and professional expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities in clinical measurements.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively to acquire an understanding of, and to comply with policies, procedures and guidelines required as a developing practitioner and as a member of a multidiscipline team in clinical measurements in Queensland Health.
