What's involved - Working as part of a multidisciplinary health facility the Clinical Nurse will provide advanced clinical direct patient care in an efficient manner within an integrated framework, providing nursing leadership whilst supporting whole of service development.

The Clinical Nurse is required to work across all clinical areas of Barcaldine Hospital and must be able to apply advanced, comprehensive knowledge and skills in emergency care and acute care whilst providing education and development of staff and portfolio management.

This position supports the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultants in the provision of leadership and direction to nursing staff and utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety, and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.
