The Child and Youth Mental Health Service provides a free service to children and young people aged 0-18 who have severe and complex mental health problems and who live in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service District.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
- Responsible for a specific client population and able to function in more complex situations while providing support and direction to registered nurses/registered midwives, enrolled nurses, unregulated healthcare workers and other healthcare workers.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Educator on provision of orientation to new staff.
- Proactively engage with the Clinical Nurse Consultant and others to achieve best practice outcomes within the work unit environment.
Remuneration value up to $123 130 p.a., comprising salary between $100 786 - $107 918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6(1)).
