About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and wider health care team, supporting the service in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of kidney care and replacement therapies.
The role of the Kidney Replacement Therapy CNC aligns with the strategies outlined in the Advancing Kidney Care (AKC) 2026 Collaborative Plan and will provide clinical advice and education regarding supportive care and kidney replacement therapies for patients with kidney disease across the Metro South Services including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Redland Dialysis Unit and Logan Hospital.
