About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide expert clinical knowledge and education to achieve the objectives of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program. The P.A.R.T.Y. Program is the trauma prevention branch of the RBWH Trauma Service which is a quaternary trauma service. P.A.R.T.Y holds an extensive multi-site licence and facilitates the delivery of education at RBWH, 10 other Queensland Health sites, onsite at Brisbane schools and in rural and remote areas across Queensland.
This role will work alongside other members of the state-wide P.A.R.T.Y. Program team and provide clinical knowledge and experience to the delivery and development of the program. This role is the lead clinical nurse presenter at all P.A.R.T.Y. Programs and provides nursing support to the state-wide P.A.R.T.Y. Program Manager.
The role supports the general function of Trauma Service through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence based patient centered care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to others in more complex situations.
