The Facility
This hospital is a major medical centre for the region and the site underwent significant development in 2016. Support services include a 24 hour emergency unit, operating theatres, consulting rooms for visiting specialists, a public dental surgery, paediatric ward, maternity unit, Acute Psychiatric Unit and an expanded Emergency Room department which included 15 acute bays.

The Role
This position is part of the Regional Physician Team, which provides internal medicine outpatient clinics and inpatient support across the region.Patients have multiple complex chronic comorbidities, including rheumatic heart disease and some infectious diseases rarely encountered in tertiary hospital settings, therefore treating a varied case load.

Pay
Total remuneration package up to $574,000 depending on experience.
