The Location

The Facility
The hospital serves a catchment in excess of 110,000 and comprises of a total of 282 beds and an extensive range of primary and community services. The department cares for approx. 750 births each year and provides both antenatal and gynaecological public outpatient clinics, including general gynaecology, urogynaecology, colposcopy and laparoscopic surgery for the south west region. The department is supported by 4 O & G Specialists, 2 accredited registrars, 2 GP registrars and an HMO.
Wards include medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, 6 bed critical care unit, dialysis, emergency, inpatient psychiatry, GEM and rehabilitation.

The Position
Provide specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology services including the care of inpatient and ambulatory patients, within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, regional hospitals and remote communities, contribute to post graduate education.
You will provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives, as well as providing supervision and support to doctors in training.

Requirements
Hold current Specialist Registration with AHPRA and hold the fellowship of RANZCOG.
IMG's:Have had your specialist training assessed by RANZCOG and have been found to be substantially comparable.
