About your opportunity
The Health and Wellbeing Service Group are currently seeking to recruit a Data Manager to their team on a permanent part-time basis, working 40 hours per fortnight.
This position is responsible for the management of quality patient information systems, data collection and analysis for the Health and Wellbeing Service Group. There will be a focus on the assessment of data collection as a tool to provide useful information in improving outcomes and the service.
Generous remuneration package value up to $53,942 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $41.12 to $45.30 p.h. (AO4)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

The successful candidate will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following
- Demonstrated ability to manage the information requirements of a clinical service unit, ensuring the collection and analysis of relevant and accurate data.
- Demonstrated ability to source, prepare and present reports, utilising pivot tables and graphs, with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer programs relevant to the information management (HBCIS, Microsoft Excel, QHERS, DSS, ESM, Townsville Analytics and Reporting (Dashboard)).
- An understanding of human resource management issues including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.
Requirements
- It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- 3 month probation period.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
