The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Dental Officers to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide quality treatment in all areas of general dental clinical practice
- Assist in ensuring the clinical dental service provided is financially viable and cost-effective
- Ensure that adequate client records and statistical information is recorded and maintained appropriately
- Be competent in all areas of general dental clinical practice
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- AHPRA Registration
- Recognition of your qualifications via the Gold Coast Health Service's credentialing application process. This process allows dental officers to demonstrate accountability and responsibility for their practice including the following as per national registration standards:
- Recency of Practice (within the last five years)
- Documented Professional Development in line with AHPRA's requirements
- Queensland radiography user licence for intra-oral radiography is mandatory
- Driver licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Permanent full time and permanent part time (several positions, 64 hrs p.f)
- Base salary ranging from $106 103 - $127 728 per annum, $53.51 - $64.41 per hour
