An exciting opportunity exists for Dentist's to deliver high quality general practitioner oral health services to eligible adult and paediatric patients in fixed and mobile facilities located across the SCHHS.

Live, work and play on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Join an expanding Health Service with a culture of innovation, education, training and research, with facilities across the Sunshine Coast including the University Hospital at Birtinya.

Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland.

Adult services are provided at clinics located at Caloundra, Kawana, Nambour, Noosa and Gympie and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). A mobile facility provides additional services at Maleny and Gympie. The SCUH Oral Health clinic provides services for patients with complex medical or oral health conditions, including general anaesthetic and special needs services.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality general practitioner oral health services to adult and paediatric patients in fixed and mobile facilities located across the SCHHS.
  • Contribute to the culture of the Oral Health team with open communication and positive feedback.
  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision of less experienced team members and dentistry students.
  • Work constructively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, to support team and organisational goals.

Remuneration value up to $153,111 p.a. (f/t), comprising salary between $111,474 - $134,195 p.a. (f/t), or $4,272.80 - $5,143.70 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $56.22 - $67.68 p.h. (p/t), or $69.15 - $83.24 (casual), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (3 x Permanent Full time, Noosa/Nambour/Caloundra, Fixed Term Temporary Full time/ Part time and casual positions available at various locations).
