About the Role

The Direct Support Officer is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Divisional Director and Director of Physician Education, and general administration support to other Divisional Staff. This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position whilst maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of multidisciplinary teams.

This position provides accurate and timely information and assistance to clients and staff within the Health Service District and external agencies and makes administrative decisions relating to the interpretation of department policies and procedures.
