About the role

The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of the Eat Walk Engage program on designated wards at Caboolture and Kilcoy Hosptials, by facilitating the implementation of initiatives that will prevent delirium for older inpatients by providing high level expertise in clinical service delivery; project management and project coordination; education and training; and stakeholder engagement, liaison and negotiation at all levels.

  • Clinical Practice
    • High level of clinical knowledge, experience and skills in the prevention of delirium and the delivery of healthcare to older persons
    • Knowledge, skills and expertise in quality improvement metholdolgy applicable to the Eat Walk Engage program.
  • Communication/team participation
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with consumers, colleagues and stakeholders to inform and influence clinical outcomes and behaviour change
  • Leadership
    • Ability to monitor and report on clincia work practices and outcomes as well as intiate, plan and evaluate lical service improvoements iniaitieives.
