The Position
This hospital is currently seeking expression of interest from qualified and experiencedEmergency Consultantsto provide specialist emergency services to adult and paediatric patients. This hospital has a supportive and inclusive team environment where they promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
The Hospital
Services provided include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, intensive care, mental health, rehabilitation, and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of a new Intensive Care Unit, additional operating theatres and two new wards. Just under 300 beds.
The Location
Our client is situated just 30 minutes drive from Melbourne's CBD, or under an hour to Victoria's spectacular surf coast. With verdant parklands and abundant green spaces, a cafe culture up there with the best Melbourne has to offer, it's easy to see why the area is in demand.
The Requirements
You must hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
It is essential that you hold the FACEM, or have been assessed by ACEM as substantially comparable.
