The hospital has recently enjoyed a major overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 which makes it one Australias largest regional healthcare facilities. This is a state-of-the-art modern health care facility that is also the major referral hospital for the region.

The redeveloped hospital is a digital hospital, equipped with leading edge technology to assist staff to provide the highest level of care and comfort to patients. It is the first regional hospital in Queensland to have the complete integrated electronic medical record.

The hospital is accredited for training with a number of the colleges.

The Emergency Department has two resus bays, three high dependency bays, 20 consult rooms, a Short Stay Unit and Fast Track area with multiple consult rooms.

Position
We are looking for Principal House Officers and/ or Registrars (all levels) to join The Department of Emergency Medicine.

Requirements
Must be registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA.
IMGs with relevant experience will be considered.
