About the Role
The Logan Central Adult Mental Health Team provides mental health services to consumers over the age of 18 who have severe and persistent mental illness that live in the community. Additionally, the Logan Central Adult Mental Health Team supports consumers to develop links with local services that can assist consumers, families, and carers in understanding and managing mental illness that reduce the need for hospitalisation.
Some Key Responsibilities of this role include:
Demonstrate professional and collaborative practice when communicating with patients/carers, nursing/midwifery colleagues and the healthcare team.
Utilise knowledge to reflect on own nursing/midwifery practice; plans workload, prioritises tasks, reporting and/or clarifying with Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.
Demonstrate appropriate planning and coordination skills in Logan Central Adult Mental Health Service clinical care delivery.
Participate with other members of the Logan Central Adult mental health team in providing support, orientation, and mentorship to the healthcare team, including new and less experienced staff.
