A unique and exciting opportunity exists for the Enrolled Nurse Advance Practice (ENAP) to provide person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standard of Practice: Enrolled Nurse.
Dove Palliative Care Unit is a purpose built fourteen bed unit situated at the Caloundra Health Service facility. The ward provides specialist inpatient care and support for people suffering with a life limiting illness and their families and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct and indirect care, engage in reflective and analytical practice and demonstrate professional and collaborative practice.
- Adhere to established guidelines, protocols, procedures, standards and systems of work as set out by the organisation.
- Educate and support less experienced staff in relation to the provision of care where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the registered nurse/registered midwife in clinical and organisational governance through active participation in team leadership and decision making.
Salary rates: $36.64 - $38.88 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 4) (part time position available, 64 hrs p.f.)
