About the Role

• Commit to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by actively participating in safety and quality practices.
• Perform all cleaning duties as required for the designated area following infection control guidelines and relevant policies and procedures.
• Transport patients within the hospital in accordance with OH&S guidelines and following safe manual handling training.
• Assist nursing staff in patient care (e.g. turns, positioning etc) as required, using the designated equipment and following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all patient and hospital information.

The Process

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and should there be an employment opportunity you will be contacted to discuss the opportunity further. Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.
