The Hospital:
Currently going through a $73 million redevelopment, this hospital will soon be state of the art.
66 hospital beds for acute medical, surgical, paediatric and maternity patients. The hospital provides a 24 hour Emergency Department. It also provides a range of services including, ante natal classes, lactation consultant, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, a hospital at home visiting service, asthma education, medical imagining, pathology and same day surgery.

The Role:
The Surgical Department is a small and busy operating department offering high quality, efficient surgical experience. The Day Procedures and Theatres area provide consultant surgical and anaesthetic services for the specialties of general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, orthopaedics, plastics, ENT, emergency and trauma.

Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12-months commencing in April 2023, with the possibility of extension(s).

The Requirements:
Ideally the hospital are looking for either an SRMO or Registrar with at least 6 months Australian or UK surgery experience or someone who has been assessed as partially comparable about the college.
