We are seeking a GP based in the rural community of Wadeye , 270km southwest ofDarwin
Wadeye is the 6th most populous town and the largest Indigenous community in the Northern Territory.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical and public health services to the community. Clinical support is provided by the Aerial Medical Service - telephone consultations and medical retrievals. Royal Darwin hospital is the regional hospital providing tertiary care.

Orientation provided on 1st Day and then travel out to the community.

What we can offer

• locum rates $2000 per day (public holidays are not paid as the Health Centre is closed)
• Dates 12th June until 30th September - min of 3 weeks locum preferred.
• Clinic hours 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday
• A nurse responds to any call outs and contacts onsite RMP if advised if advised by the DMO oncall
• Primary Health Care Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners are the first respondents on-call
• Flights/accommodation
