About your opportunity:
Home Care Services, within Townsville Hospital and Health Service, are currently seeking to recruit a Home Care Worker, on a permanent part-time basis, working 64 hours per fortnight. This position is based on Palm Island.
The purpose of this position is to provide basic domestic cleaning and support services to the frail aged, and younger disabled members of the community and their carers.
Generous remuneration package value up to $56,999 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $28.04 to $29.91 p.h. (OO2)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:
- It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- 3-month probation period.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
