The role
Reporting to the Director Risk and Fraud, you will provide expert strategic advice to executive officers on corporate governance, risk management, setting objectives and performance measures. You will also lead, drive and be accountable for the review of governance, project management, and reporting systems and practices across the client Division. In addition, you will oversee the monitoring and reporting of divisional legislative and regulatory obligations, as well as monitor divisional compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.
You will also maintain awareness of emerging governance and reporting trends and practices to identify opportunities to improve processes. You will lead and coordinate business continuity planning including mapping of critical functions and identification and testing of key contingency strategies and communication pathways. You will be responsible for representing the client Division internally on matters relating to operational planning, governance, business continuity planning and risk management. In addition, you will prepare high level correspondence as required
The successful person
You will have an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and public sector correspondence standards together. You will also have proven experience in researching designing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting of operational and other divisional plans. In addition, you will also have highly developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and consulting skills at a senior level, building rapport and trust with senior executives. You will also have proven ability to analyse and advise executive management on complex operational and governance matters.
