About the Unit/Team/Department
This position is part of the Greater Whitsunday Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and involves providing Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services to outreach sites of the Whitsunday region including Airlie Beach, Cannonvale, Bowen and Collinsville. The position is based at Proserpine Hospital. There is the expectation that successful applicant would travel to Mackay for training as required.
The Mental Health Clinician provides competent level clinical skills to ensure client-focused evidence- based care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of client care, and provides leadership and support to other staff within the Greater Whitsunday Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service.
