About the role
The purpose of this role is to perform functions to support the Dietitian in providing optimal clinical care to patients including:
- Ensuring appropriate menu choices are made,
- Monitoring patient intake,
- Assisting with the provision of therapeutic food and fluids including high protein and energy supplements and enteral feeds
- Providing basic education, nutrition screening and delegated assessments as instructed by the Dietitian within local frameworks/guidelines.
