The Facility:
This is the main regional rural referral hospital for the North-West area of NSW with 250+ beds. After the recent completion of a $220 Million redevelopment the hospital now has 348 treatment spaces and conducts over 9,000 surgical procedures each year across 5 theatres. The trauma centre is equipped with a locally based helicopter retrieval service and is complemented by an extensive network of locally based Medical Specialists.

The Role:
You will be joining a team of 5 Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, lead by an experienced Clinical Director. You will provide generalist obstetric and gynaecology services in a rural environment. The role includes inpatient and emergency consultations, outpatient gynaecology and antenatal clinics, emergency theatre lists, as well as equitable participation on the acute on-call roster. You must be able to work independently. Possible VMO.

The Requirements:

• AHPRA Registration or eligible
• FRANZCOG or an equivalent qualification assessed by the RANZCOG as comparable.
• IMG with RANZCOG interview date oroutcome
• NZ FRANZCOG or SMO willing to be assessed
