There are two main facilities. In recent years the Hospital has undergone a major redevelopment totalling in excess of $50 million. The redevelopment has delivered new beds and improved services so you will be working with access to superior treatment and case management services. The hospital is a 200+ bed facility and caters to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide a registrar to supervise patient management in the ambulatory setting of Cancer Care Services. The registrar will provide medical oncology services within the program of Cancer Care Services.
Provide support for Medical Oncology patients in the Day Oncology Unit. Provide consultation services to clinical areas within the Health Service. Participate in ward rounds, clinics and meetings and undertake other clinical duties as required. Will be under the supervision of a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Medical Oncology).
