The Role
Opportunities have become available for several Oral Health Therapists to joinGold Coast Health (GCH) Oral Health Services. This team is responsible for delivering various oral health preventative programs and high quality public oral health services, consisting of routine and emergency oral health care to the Gold Coast Community.
You will be responsible for
- Using clinical and problem-solving skills in oral health therapy clinical services, health promotion and public health
- Contributing to projects that support and promote Hospital and Health Service research and health promotion activities
- Participating in and facilitating the development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships with professional and operational oral health service managers, oral health staff and other stakeholders
Requirements for the role
- The possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Oral Health from a recognised tertiary institution
- AHPRA Registration
- Possession of an appropriate User License issued under the Queensland Radiation Safety Act 1999
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary information
- Permanent full time and permanent part-time (Roles to commence from March 2023, hrs negotiable, minimum 45.6 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $77 741 - $107 556 per annum or $39.20 - $54.24 per hour
- Up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
About Oral Health Services
Oral Health Services are responsible for delivering various oral health preventative programs and high quality public oral health services, consisting of routine and emergency oral health care to the Gold Coast Community. Servicing approximately 300 patients daily, our services extend from Coolangatta to Woongoolba, which is serviced by 4 fixed dental clinics (located at Southport, Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina, Palm Beach) and 14 mobile dental clinics strategically located across Gold Coast schools and a school-based facility at Burleigh.
