Key Responsibilities:

  • This position will function as part of a team of pharmacists providing services to paediatric, neonatal and maternity patients within the Pharmacy Services of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. There may also be a requirement for this position to cover alternative clinical areas and dispensary services.
  • An expectation of this position is to support the Pharmacy Operational Portfolio Holders - Women's and Children's and the Assistant Director of Pharmacy (Clinical) in all Medication Management initiatives and to assist in the development of continuous quality improvement activities to ensure optimum patient medication safety.
  • As the Paediatric Pharmacist, you may be required to provide clinical advice regarding paediatric patients across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, including paediatric advice (phone or face-to-face) to Emergency Departments within SCHHS and Gympie Hospital Paediatric unit.
  • Participate in outpatient pharmacy clinical services to Paediatric, Neonatal and Antenatal patients.

Remuneration value up to $11 770 p.m., comprising salary between $4409.80 - $4745.20 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $58.02 - $62.43 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed Term Temporary Part time, 45.6 hrs p.f. and/or up to full time positions available as required).
