In this position, you will work collaboratively within a team to develop, lead, and manage the Pharmacy Production Unit service at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.Contribute to patient care by providing a high standard of delivery of medication management services within the SCHHS.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacist Advanced to operationally manage the pharmacy production unit by utilising leadership and management skills.
  • Apply skills associated with dispensing and distribution of medicines, and compounding of sterile and non-sterile products
  • Exercise accountability and responsibility for the quality standards for compounded products and regularly monitor practices, including product validation
  • Apply highly developed technical skills, conduct/supervise both initial and refresher training on the aseptic and cytotoxic manufacturing for pharmacy staff.

Remuneration value up to $93,497 p.a., comprising salary between $77,219 - $81,946 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA5) (Permanent Full time, 76 hrs p.f.).
