The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist Advanced (Vestibular Ears, Nose and Throat) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide specialised vestibular physiotherapy service for the independent assessment, diagnosis and management of clients
• Use expertise and clinical leadership in the development of clinical practices, competencies, procedures and protocols
• Identify, develop, provide, evaluate and co-ordinate expert training and guidance, succession planning and development opportunities
• Provide authoritative clinical counsel and advocacy for clinical services in areas of responsibility to meet the needs and priorities of project, patients, the community

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• A tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
• AHPRA Registration
• Competency based professional development training in vestibular physiotherapy
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary

• Temporary part time, (7 months with the possibility of extension, 45.6 hrs p.f.)
• Base salary ranging from $65.63 - $68.49 per hour

About Us

The integrated specialised Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) service is a multidisciplinary outpatient ENT service which provides high quality outpatient services to the community within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). ENT services provided include generalist regional and specialist tertiary services to both adult and paediatric populations. Based in Southport.
