Job Details
The role
Reporting to the Manager, Communication (HCD) you will lead strategic communication strategies for the division, including media opportunities and internal and external communication requirements, including online, social media and creative requirements, as they relate to the delivery of Queensland Health's infrastructure program. You will develop, deliver, and evaluate high level media communication strategies and materials for a range of communication channels, including traditional, social, and digital media. This includes the Capacity Expansion, Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery, Building Rural and Remote Health and Satellite Hospital Programs.
Furthermore, you will support team members to deliver innovative solutions that contribute to capital health division priorities, while overseeing the day-to-day function of the team, including managing workflow.
The successful person
To be successful in this role you will have a comprehensive understanding and breadth of experience in leading the production of strategically aligned communication content, for a variety of channels and audiences. You will have demonstrated ability to identify emerging issues, offer solutions and develop responsible, positive, and collaborative communication strategies as well as experience supervising and mentoring a team, including the allocation and prioritisation of work.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
