Your opportunity:This position description is general for all Registrars and Principal House Officers (PHO's) in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Specific duties will vary dependent upon the clinical specialty and some will be negotiated with the relevant consultant, the Department of Orthopaedics and the individual. Each position is supervised by senior medical staff, although a reasonable degree of autonomy is expected. All Registrars and PHO's should provide leadership to junior residents working in the same clinical unit. The Bundaberg Hospital is a teaching hospital of the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School. Student placements occur throughout the year and medical staff is expected to work with the Clinical School in the education program.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment up to February 2024 with the possibility of extension.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $15,931 per month., comprising salary between $4,458.40 $5,169.20 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%)and vocational training subsidy(L4 - L9) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment up to February 2024,with the possibility of extension.)
