An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Information Security Officer, will lead SCHHS to adopt a continuous, proactive approach to the assessment, implementation and review of our information security risks and controls in the context of evolving security threats and vulnerabilities and develop a mature, comprehensive approach to information security across our whole IM/ICT environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert analysis and advice in relation to the SCHHS information security environment and determine current maturity levels and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, standards and frameworks applicable to information security requirements.
  • Perform risk identification and assessment on information security threats and vulnerabilities in the SCHHS environment and proactively advocate for the implementation of appropriate measures to prevent or respond to potential information security issues.
  • Manage the implementation and operation of the Qld Government Information Security Policy (IS18:2018) and an Information Security Management System (ISMS) compatible with ISO 27001:2013 as applied to SCHHS.
