About the Role

To provide a specialist service to Logan & Beaudesert Health Service clients, including providing technical and operational advice and managing both internal and external relationships to facilitate a client focused service and to provide support in all aspects of the pre-employment of medical staff to ensure their commencement meets policy and legislative standards and requirements.

  • Provide high level advice and assistance to Divisions and individual medical officers regarding all aspects of the employment of Medical Officers to the facility including interpretation for appropriate medical registration as per Medical Board of Australia requirements to ensure all clinical practice is appropriately covered.
  • Be accountable for all new Medical Officer appointments and extensions within the Logan & Beaudesert Health Service and ensure compliance with all current legislative requirements including Criminal History Checks, Google Searches, Referee Reports, Medical registration, Australian work rights, appointment documentation, Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice and Vaccination Requirements.
  • Manage the Resident Medical Officers (RMO) Recruitment Campaign including report running, selection on-line, appointment documentation, registration documentation and represent the Logan & Beaudesert Health Service and the DMS at Selection Meetings.
