The role:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, the Principal Technical Specialist will play a lead role in the replacement of the Enterprise Firewalls and web gateway solutions, within the Cyber Security Program. This role will provide expert advice and analysis of the firewall and gateway environment to determine appropriate replacement strategies.
Duties will include:
- Technical change management, implementation, and coordination of the Enterprise Firewalls and Gateway Platforms.
- Partner with key stakeholders, HHSs and external suppliers / vendors in developing, socialisation and implementation of technical plans.
- Provide leadership and support to the SWG replacement project.
- Provide all levels of support during project lifecycle.

Experience in technology design associated with relevant technical domains:

- Enterprise Firewalls
- Web Gateway Platforms
- Microsoft Windows Server Management
- Firewall Engineering and operations
- Firewall Security Management Architecture and SmartConsole
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, at business and technical levels, complex architectural concepts, drivers, and issues, in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate information technology with business processes and people.
