The Hospital
Currently going through a $73 million redevelopment, this hospital will soon be state of the art.
66 hospital beds for acute medical, surgical, paediatric and maternity patients. The hospital provides a 24 hour Emergency Department. It also provides a range of services including, ante natal classes, lactation consultant, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, a hospital at home visiting service, asthma education, medical imagining, pathology and same day surgery.

New services that have been introduced to the new hospital include an inpatient rehabilitation unit and a day rehabilitation centre. Visiting specialists provide a range of surgical services.

The Role
The role provides clinical leadership, advice, consultation, liaison and support to health care professionals.

The Consultant Psychiatrist will examine, assess, diagnose and treat child and adolescent patients. The suitable candidate will also promote the organisational culture and principles of person-centred, trauma informed, and recovery focussed service delivery.

The Requirements
