An exciting opportunity exists for a Radiographer to deliver Medical Imaging services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in delivering Medical Imaging services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
  • Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
  • Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
  • Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the Medical Imaging Service and the multi-disciplinary team, as well as engaging in professional development activities to ensure maintenance of relevant registration and /or professional membership.

Remuneration value up to $119,715 p.a., comprising salary rates $2719.80 - $3997.60 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fulltime position, 76 hrs p.f.).
