About the Role
Staff on the Metro South Health Nursing Midwifery Deployable Workforce (MSHNMDW) work across all Areas of the Health Service primarily as part of the COVID-19 response which includes but not limited to Screening Clinics, Vaccination Clinics, Concierge services, and mask fit testing. Working on the MSHNMDW provides a unique opportunity for staff to develop skills that are not bound to one location or specialty but are transferable across all areas, developing staff both personally and professionally.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Metro South Health Nursing Midwifery Deployable Workforce delivers safe compassionate clinical care; working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. The RN engages in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct person-centred care. The RN continually improves their skills and knowledge developing from graduate to highly skilled Registered Nurse.
