The Registrar (Medical Oncology) is responsible for providing high quality Medical Oncology management across the SCHHS.
The role will include acute and outpatient assessment of medical oncology patients. The role will also include research time working directly with the growing Medical Oncology clinical trials unit. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to tailor research to their personal interests.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide services in accordance with the policies and procedures of Department of Medical Oncology.
- Provide safe and high-quality care to patients in accordance with the ethics and standards of the medical profession.
- Participation in general Medical Oncology clinics.
- Participate in the training of and supervision of junior medical staff.
Remuneration value up to $11,238 p.m., comprising salary between $4,458.40 - $5,169.20 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Reg L4-L9) (Fixed Term Temporary Full time position available for up to 12 months).
