The role:
Join our highly skilled Digital Applications Services unit and lead / mentor a team of IT professionals within the Business Applications team in accordance with the approved ITSM management processes. This role works at both a strategic and operational level in the integrated operation of clinical and non-clinical enterprise information systems.
The team acts as a conduit between customer, technical and operational areas and your engagement with each team will be a key attribute to the role.
You will manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise solutions supported by the team.

To secure this role you will demonstrate:
- Ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5)
- High level skills and experience in managing clinical and non-clinical applications and in the delivery of integrated enterprise applications in a large and complex service delivery environment
- Ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists
- Well-developed management skills and knowledge including high level ability in the areas of planning, managing resources, budget preparation and financial
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining and advancing core infrastructure for video conferencing, knowledge of Cisco CUCM, CMS and TMS, Pexip, Vyopta, Twillio etc.
Participation in on-call arrangements is a requirement of this role and appropriate remuneration under the relevant award will apply. This position may be required to work at different sites.
