The role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, Corporate Services Division, you will be a key member of the Department`s HR Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading the strategy development and execution of organisational effectiveness, talent and culture management programs aimed at advancing Queensland Health`s vision. The Senior Director will partner with business leaders, HR Leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure the development and advancement of an empowered, inclusive, values-driven workplace culture, and actively plan for future departmental talent and culture needs, inclusive of change management.
The successful person
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of contemporary and best practice human resource management and people functions. Your ability leading the strategy development and execution of organisational effectiveness, talent and culture management programs within a large, complex organisation will be of high standards. You will also have:
  • Ability to provide expertise and advice to a range of stakeholders, business partners and executive leadership members
  • Considerable skill in leading, coaching and inspiring diverse teams, to achieve high value contribution, performance and outcomes
  • Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills at a senior level and achievements in cultivating productive working relationships, partnerships and teamwork
  • High level written communication and presentation skills
  • A high level of professional integrity and commitment to public service values.
