To make a significant contribution to improve the health and wellbeing of the local communities within the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) through the accreditation of all primary healthcare facilities, by providing specialised project management skills and primary healthcare knowledge for the Primary Healthcare Accreditation Project.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience working in rural and remote settings and/or indigenous cross-cultural settings.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound knowledge and skills in change and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging all levels of an organisation to foster a culture if continuous quality improvement.

Requirements for the role:
- Hold registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medial Board of Australia.
- The position requires the incumbent required to undergo the credentialing and scope of clinical practice process in accordance with TCHHS policy.
- You are required to maintain the credentials which the employer determines are necessary for you to perform your duties within the scope of your clinical practice.
