The role of the Senior Pharmacist in the Roma sector of the South West Hospital and Health Service is to deliver a high level of evidence based clinical pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team, primarily at the Roma Hospital, based on current Best Practice Guidelines and in alignment with district and unit goals, to our patients/consumers.

The Senior Pharmacist clinical role can vary greatly on any given day based on demand, however the focus will be on admitted patients in the Inpatient Unit, patients in the Emergency Department, select patient cohorts presenting for Specialist Outpatient reviews, and providing telehealth Pharmacy services to inpatients at spoke hospitals within the South West Hospital and Health Service.
