Your opportunity

As part of the Physiotherapy Department, deliver high level of Physiotherapy services to a complex musculoskeletal caseload, referred from the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Physiotherapy Screening Clinic, within a multidisciplinary context, with minimal direct supervision.

About the Team

Our Physiotherapy Service delivers care to patients, both adults and children, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Physiotherapists aim to restore a person's function, maximising their mobility and health and minimising their dysfunction. Treatment is tailored to each individual and is based on the patient's needs.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service ( https://www.mackay.health.qld.gov.au/ ) has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,300 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
