About your opportunity

Permanent part-time, 30.4 hours per fortnight

This position will deliver high level social work services, within a multidisciplinary working partnership with other health professionals to Emergency Department patients to optimise patient and/or family/carer psychosocial outcomes and to maximise benefits from the health care services.

The position is located in the Emergency Department (ED) with the multi-disciplinary Allied Health team and provides clinical social work services within ED.

Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $56,500 p.a. comprising:

• Salary range of $58.02 to $62.43 p.h. (HP4)
• Annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree qualification in Social Work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (Mandatory)
• Additional experience and/or post graduate qualifications in trauma and critical care will be highly regarded.
• Proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
