About your opportunity
Fixed term temporary part-time, 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing asap up to 26/1/2025 with a possibility of extension.
Deliver advanced level speech pathology clinical services and professional leadership across various clinical care areas at the Townsville University Hospital delivering services to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.
Manage and coordinate speech pathologists working within clinical care teams delivering speech pathology clinical services to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health at The Townsville University Hospital.
Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $7,747 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $65.63 to $68.49 p.h. (HP5)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
- Mandatory qualification in Speech Therapy/Pathology.
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Status with Speech Pathology Australia is desirable.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
