The Facility:
This is a 280-bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services. A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region. Population numbers swell during the fruit harvest season when an estimated 10,000 itinerant workers from throughout Australia and overseas visit the region. Snake bites, cuts, scratches to the eyes from branches, injuries caused by falling from a fruit picking ladder and allergic reactions are among the most common conditions treated during the this period.

The Role:
Our client is looking to fill a unique opportunity to join their growing team of Staff Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons in either a full time or part time capacity. An exciting opportunity provides the chance to practice within a busy and varied Surgery environment and to work within our brand-new Theatres provides a range of specialist services for both adults and children including:

• Upper and lower limbs elective orthopaedic problems
• Major joint replacements
• General adult and paediatric orthopaedic trauma and emergencies

Your Profile:
